Abstract:	Gradnja in oblikovanje kariere posameznika je v današnjem času vseživljenjski proces, ki ga je potrebno skrbno načrtovati. Ker smo v času velikih družbenih in gospodarskih sprememb, se od posameznika pričakuje veliko motiviranosti, energije, vztrajnosti, predvsem pa dobra prilagodljivost za trg dela, tako na področju strokovnega znanja kot osebnostnih lastnosti in kompetenc. Zaradi sprememb na trgu dela je potrebno že v srednji šoli dijakom pomagati in jih usmerjati pri oblikovanju in razvoju kariere tudi s pravo izbiro delodajalca, pri katerem bodo opravljali praktično usposabljanje z delom in pridobivali nova strokovna znanja, veščine in razvijali kompetence. To jim bo lahko pomagalo pri večji konkurenčnosti in uspešnem participiranju na trgu dela, ki je danes zelo nepredvidljiv in spremenljiv. Na osnovi teoretičnih spoznanj smo v empiričnem delu naloge med dijaki srednjega strokovnega izobraževanja izvedli raziskavo o gradnji kariere v Biotehniškem centru Naklo, ki so že imeli izkušnjo z opravljanjem praktičnega usposabljanja z delom pri delodajalcu. Cilj raziskave je bil ugotoviti, ali starost dijakov vpliva na pričetek gradnje kariere in na zavedanje o tem, da lahko na praktičnem usposabljanju pridobivajo nova znanja in spretnosti, ki jim bodo v pomoč pri oblikovanju njihove kariere. Pri tem smo želeli od dijakov dobiti povratno informacijo o zavedanju pomembnosti ključnih kompetenc in poznavanju vsebin kariernih centrov. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da je eden od temeljnih gradnikov kariere dijakov praktično usposabljanje pri delodajalcih, pri katerih dijaki pridobivajo nova znanja, spretnosti in kompetence, ki so pomembne pri njihovi nadaljnji karieri. Na podlagi raziskave, ki je pokazala, da bi dijaki uporabljali aktivnosti kariernega centra in pregleda različne strokovne literature ter različnih že vzpostavljenih kariernih centrov po Sloveniji, smo podali tudi model kariernega centra, ki bi ga vzpostavili v Biotehniškem centru Naklo, kot pomoč pri povezovanju dijakov in delodajalcev.

Title:	Career development of students in field of secondary professional education in the Biotehnical center of Naklo
Abstract:	The building and shaping of an individual's career is a lifelong process that needs to be carefully planned in the present day. Since we live in an era of big social and economic changes, a lot of motivation, energy, perseverance is expected from the individual as well as good flexibility for the labour market, both in terms of expertise, personal qualities and competences. Because of all these changes in the labour market it is necessary to help and direct students in the shaping and development of their careers as early as at the stage of high school and with the right choice of the employer who is to host them when they perform practical work training, acquire new expertise, skills and develop competences. This will help them increase their competitiveness and successful participation in the labour market, which is very unpredictable and variable nowadays. In the empirical part of the task we carried out a survey (based on theoretical recognitions) among the students who already had experience in performing practical training with work at the employer, and we asked them about their experience with career building in Biotechnical centre Naklo. The aim of the research was to determine whether the age of students influences the start of career building and thus the awareness that they can acquire new knowledge and skills in practical training, which can help them to shape their careers. In doing so, we wanted to provide students with feedback on awareness of the importance of key competences and knowledge of the content of career centers. The results of the research have shown that one of the basic building blocks of a student’s career is a practical training at employers, where one can acquire new knowledge, skills and competences that are important in the future of his career. The research showed that students would use the activities of the Career Center, reviews of various professional literature and various established career centers around Slovenia. In accordance with its results we also presented a model of the Career Center, which would be established at Biotechnical Center Naklo, as an aid for connecting students and employers.
