Abstract:	Pregled študij o zaupanju in legitimnosti policijske dejavnosti je tema, ki me je pritegnila, ker obstaja že kar nekaj raziskav izvedenih glede mnenja javnosti o policiji in njihovem delu, kot tudi med policisti, kakšno imajo mnenje o njihovem delu, medsebojnem zaupanju ipd. pa vendar, se mi zdi to, nikoli dovolj raziskana tema. Recesija je povzročila precejšnje nezaupanje v institucije, velika posledica nezaupanja pa je definitivno vpliv medijev. Za temo pregled študij o zaupanju in legitimnosti policijske dejavnosti, sem se odločila, saj skoraj da vsakodnevno slišimo kritiziranje našega sistema nadzora in policijsko delo. Diplomsko delo temelji na podlagi pregleda literature, pridobljene iz predhodno izvedenih raziskav, študij, člankov in knjig. Policijsko delo je naporno, zahtevno in od policista zahteva veliko zbranosti in odgovornosti. Je pa seveda tudi plemenito in pomembno, saj policisti pomagajo ljudem v nesreči, skrbijo za varnost v družbi in skrbijo za spoštovanje zakonov. Zato dela policista ne mora opravljati vsak, saj je pomembno, da je policist komunikativen, odprt, z določeno stopnjo avtoritete, odločen in pravičen. Diplomska naloga je razdeljena na tri dele, pa vendar so si ti deli bolj blizu kot bi si mislili, saj vsi deli vplivajo na samolegitimnost policistov, k temu pa povezano zaupanje v policiste. V prvem delu sem predstavila pooblastila policije in policijskega dela in primer s prekoračitvijo pooblastil. V drugem delu s tem povezano zaupanje v policijo s strani javnosti in medsebojno zaupanje med policisti. V tretjem delu pa nekaj o legitimnosti policijske dejavnosti in samozaznavi legitimnosti. Vsi deli so si med seboj bolj blizu, kot bi si na prvi pogled mislili, saj ravno spoštovanje policijskih pooblastil in ravnanje po zakonih, v javnosti zbudi zaupanje v policijo, zaupanje v policijo kreira boljšo podobo policistov v javnosti in podoba javnosti in medsebojno zaupanje policistov sta ena izmed glavnih dejavnikov, ki vplivata na samozaznavo legitimnosti pri policistih.

Title:	A literature review of studies of trust and legitimacy of policing
Abstract:	A literature review of studies of trust and legitimacy of policing is a theme, which attracted me, because there are already quite a few studies about public opinion on the police and their work as well as between police officers, what is the opinion about their work, mutual trust, however, I find this never been a well-studied topic. The recession has caused considerable distrust in institutions, great consequence of distrust is definitely the influence of the media. I decided for the topic a literature review of studies of trust and legitimacy of policing because we hear almost every day criticizing our system of supervision and police work. The diploma is based on a literature review, obtained from previously carried out research, studies, articles and books. Police work is hard, demanding, and pequires a lot of attention and responsibility from the police officer. It is, of course, also noble and important, as police officers help poeple in an accident, take care of security in society and take care of compliance with laws. Therefore, the work of a police officer does not have to be carried out by everyone, since it is important that the police officer is communicative, open, with a certain degree of authority, determined and just. The diploma is divided into three parts, but these part are more close than you would think, since all the parts influence the self-legitimacy of the police officers, and this is linked to trust in the police. In the first part, I present police powers and police work and an example of overstepping powers of police officers. In the second part, this involves the trust in the police by public and the mutual trust between the police officers. In the third part, something about the legitimacy of police activity and self-awareness of legitimacy. All the parts are closer to each other than at first glance, since it is precisely the perspect of police powers and law-abiding behaviour that awakens public confidence in the police, trust in the police creates a better image of the police officers in public and the image of the public and the mutual trust of the police officers are one of the main factors influencing the self-awareness of the legitimacy of police officers.
