Title:Cost analysis of manufacturing a belt conveyor on a spreader superfex 700
Abstract:The diploma deals with cost analysis of three different solutions of a belt conveyor for a spreader, which are metal bar screwed on support and support screwed on the chain, metal bar screwed on support and support welded on the chain, metal bar welded on the support and support welded on the chain. Belt conveyor is one of the components for a spreader SUPERFEX 600 or for SUPERFEX 700. It is made of 8 pieces, which are driven sprocket, free sprocket, chain support, metal bar, chain attach link, screw M10 and nut M10. For the purpose to analyize costs of three different solutions of a belt conveyor we needed to make a prototype product, based on which we measured machining times and with the help of machining times we calculated the costs. Looking at the costs, more appropriate solution for a belt conveyor was chosen based on a calculation of products cost price and with the help of the costs of another company, which gave us offers where the whole belt conveyor was already assembled.
Keywords:spreader, belt conveyor, cost analysis, production time, product cost.
