Abstract:	V podjetju je gospodarjenje z materialom pomembna dejavnost, ki omogoča stalen tok materiala od dobaviteljev preko proizvodnega sistema do končnega porabnika. Ena izmed funkcij ki nastopa v okviru gospodarjenja z materialom je tudi analiza zalog s pomočjo ABC in XYZ analize. V diplomskem delu bomo opravili analizo zalog materiala v proizvodnem podjetju Baumüller Dravinja, ki se ukvarja z proizvodnjo kovinskih izdelkov. Opravili bomo ABC analizo s katero bomo material ločili glede na stroške, ki jih predstavlja pri poslovanju, dopolnili pa jo bomo z XYZ analizo s katero bomo material razvrstili glede dinamiko porabe.

Title:	Abc and xyz inventory analysis in the manufacturing company
Abstract:	Inventory management is an important activity within any company, for it enables a stabile flow of materials from the suppliers to the consumer by the means of a production system. One of the occurring functions of inventory management is also the analysis of supplies using the ABC and XYZ analysis. This thesis will analyse the supply of materials in the production company Baumüller Dravinja d.o.o., which is engaged in the production of metal products. We will conduct an ABC analysis which will arrange the supplies by considering their costs to business. The analysis will then be complemented by an XYZ analysis which will arrange the supplies by considering their consumption.
