Rezultati raziskave so bili obdelani s pomočjo programa Microsoft Excel in hipoteze preverjene s pomočjo statističnega paketa SPSS V24.

Title:Confronting with stress among the fist responders at providing first aid on emergency interventions
Abstract:Starting points, intention: In the master's thesis, we presented the problem of stress among the first responders in providing first aid on emergency interventions and coping with stress. Research methodology: We used a quantitative survey involving 95 first responders of voluntary fire brigades in Območna gasilska zveza Ptuj. We used a casual sample. The results of the research were processed using Microsoft Excel and the hypotheses were verified using the SPSS V24 statistical package. Results: We found that the respondents feel physical, emotional and behavioral symptoms of stress rarely, very rarely or never. We also found that women feel all symptoms of stress more often than men, they most often use relaxation, hobbies and leisure activities and all forms of psychosocial help are used rarely, very rarely or never. We have not been able to prove statistically significant links between satisfaction with working and serving group excitement talks. We also found that for the first responders who use the technique of relaxation, they use conversation with friends in the frequency of group interviews, which is statistically characterized by a weak positive association. There is also a weak positive link between the first responders, who use the technology of relaxation to talk to friends, and the frequency of individual relief discussions in the organization. Conclusion: The study showed a low sensation of stress symptoms and a low use of psychological help and relaxation techniques, which does not mean that there is no stress among the first respondents or that this is low. There are possible reasons for such findings that could be worth exploring with an expanded study. So the research provides a basis for further research.
Keywords:symptoms of stress, consequences of stress, stress among first responders, psychological help, conversations, relaxation.
