Title:Ali obleka naredi človeka? Analiza likov v noveli "obleka naredi človeka" Goffrieda Kellerja

Abstract:Tema diplomskega dela je strukturalistična analiza oseb v noveli Obleka naredi človeka švicarskega pisatelja Gottfrieda Kellerja. Protagonist Wenzel Strapinski je krojač, ki se nenadoma pojavi v švicarski vasi Goldach. Vaščani mislijo, da je poljski grof, česar sam nikoli ni trdil, saj ni goljuf. Vendar pa proti govoricam tudi nič ne ukrene. Svojo pravi identiteto skriva zaradi ljubezni do Nettchen, hčerke okrajnega svetnika. Boji se, da bi Nettchen izgubil, če bi ga razkrili. Tudi Melchior Bӧhni, računovodja okrajnega svetnika, se želi poročiti z Nettchen. A ta prepozna vrline Strapinskega in preračunljivi značaj Bӧhnija, zato se med tekmecema za svojo roko razumno in trezno odloči za prvega. Pri analizi izotopij ugotovimo, da sta značaja Strapinskega in Nettchen v opoziciji. On je čustven, ona razmišlja realistično in racionalno. Moja domneva, da je Strapinski obotavljiv in sramežljiv, Nettchen pa odločna in prizemljena, je s tem potrjena.

Title:Machen Kleider Leute? - Eine Figurenanalyse zur Novelle Kleider machen Leute von Gottfried Keller
Abstract:Das Thema der Diplomarbeit ist eine strukturalistische Analyse der Figuren in der Novelle »Kleider machen Leute« des Schweizer Schriftstellers Gottfried Keller. Der Protagonist Wenzel Strapinski ist ein Schneider, der im Schweizer Dorf Goldach plötzlich auftaucht. Die Dorfbewohner glauben, dass er ein polnischer Graf sei. Das hat er jedoch selber nie behauptet. Er ist zwar kein Betrüger, unternimmt gegen solches Gerede aber nichts. Seine wahre Identität will er aus Liebe zu Nettchen, der Tochter des Amtsrates, nicht preisgeben. Er fürchtet, Nettchen ansonsten zu verlieren. Melchior Böhni, der Buchhalter des Amtsrates, will Nettchen heiraten. Doch sie erkennt die Tugenden von Strapinski und durchschaut den berechenbaren Charakter von Böhni. Deshalb entscheidet sie sich verständig und klug für den ersten der beiden Konkurrenten um ihre Hand. Bei der Analyse der Isotopien stellen wir fest, dass die Charaktere von Strapinski und Nettchen in der Opposition stehen. Er ist emotional, sie überlegt realistisch und rational. Meine Vermutung, dass Strapinski zögerlich und scheu ist, Nettchen hingegen entschlossen und geerdet, ist somit bestätigt.
