Abstract:Prevzemi podjetij so vedno bili in bodo najbrž za vedno ostali ustaljena praksa vstopa v podjetništvo ali širitve že ustaljenih podjetnikov.

Title:Analysis of takeover on the case of a foreign football club
Abstract:Company takeovers have always been and will probably always be an established practice of entering the entrepeneurship world or expanding the business. With completing the takeover, we already get an established routine, real estate, assets, employees and everything else needed to run our business, reducing our starting costs and this is what attracts investors with capital and a good sense of recognising quality built companies. In sports, namely football, takeovers were not really popular among investors, especially on a level this high. This trend began with the takeover of Chelsea FC by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, which is also our main topic in the diploma thesis with brief presentations of other takeovers in football as well. The takeover of this club was not only the trend setting takeover but also turned out to be really successful on the financial part of view and the sports one aswell with club record breaking numbers in financial reports in the past years and also winning a lot of trophies in most elite club competitions in Europe.
