Title:The impact of car sharing on the environment in slovenia
Abstract:This degree paper is established on joint car usage model. In the paper, we engaged in green logistics and models, designed for continual activity of population. We began the paper with establishing theoretical foundations about green logistics and sharing economy model. We gathered information about current environmental pollution, due to traffic system in Europe and Slovenia. In details we addressed joint car usage system. We were interested, how the system works in other countries and what are it's benefits for population and surroundings. In the second part of the paper, we studied current traffic condition in Slovenia and Europe. Based on comparable studies, we extracted most common ways to initiate environment – friendly traffic all around the world. We found a study, performed in Pakistan, town Peshawar. We followed it's example, when making survey about Slovene population public opinion of joint car usage. Based on the survey and public feedback, we concluded, that joint car usage in Slovenia is an attractive way of transfer, with many positive attributes for road traffic, but it is currently poorly developed (we only have AvantCar). Therefore, many residents of Slovenia never used or even heard of joint car usage transport.
