Abstract:V delu smo prikazali način priprave MKE modela za optimizacijo topologije, kamor spada določanje ustreznih robnih pogojev in izdelava mrež končnih elementov.

Title:Strength and durability improvement of optimized structural parts
Abstract:In this work we have shown the preparation of FEM model used for topology optimization, where we determine appropriate boundary conditions and produce different sizes of finite element meshes. Three different types of optimization are run on four different FE mesh sizes. All different models are used for topology optimization, then used for shape optimization and later optimized based on modified tensile/compression factor (TCR). After we performed all the necessary optimizations we have presented and compared the results regarding the improvement of the strength and durability of optimized part for different types of optimization. At various local parts of our model, we have shown the improvements obtained by shape optimization and optimization based on a modified TCR factor, with the aim of reducing stress concentrations at critical areas and uniform stress distribution across all surfaces.
Keywords:Structures, design, optimization, topology, durability.
