Title:Embedded system for the sensors of the Internet of Things with solar power harvesting
Abstract:Dissertation describes planning and development of electronic embedded system that work as sensor of Internet of things, as the same time is using solar power harvesting for power supply. It presents the working principle of Internet of things as well as working of solar cells, furthermore it also presents the idea and realisation about electric self-sufficiency and its management. Electronic system is assembled from power supply and control circuit, also the server for Internet of things and user interface for presenting measured data from sensors are assembled. The power supply part is describing how to assemble working circuit that will be monitoring its own power usage, how to utilize solar energy to charge our battery and how to ensure working of system even when the battery is dead. Control part of system is describing making of the control panel which can connect to internet, work as part of Internet of things and send measured data from its sensors to the server. Also, algorithms and diagrams of control panel program are shown and described. The last part describes installation and placing server for Internet of things, database for data storage and user interface for displaying measured data. All parts in dissertation are distributed logically in individual chapters, that are released from the approximate description to the details.
