Abstract:
V magistrski nalogi se bom ukvarjala z odnosom podobe in teksta skozi t. i. postmodernistično slikanico. Kot tehnično izhodišče bom ob umetniških delih Miriam Elia in Davida Shrigleyja analizirala njune pristope upodabljanja interakcije med besedilom in ilustracijo. V praktičnem delu naloge bom skozi ilustracijo raziskovala in razvijala odnos med verbalnim in vizualnim.

Title:
The interplay between image and text in the posmodern picture books
Abstract:
In the masters thesis, I will deal with the interplay between image and text in the so-called postmodern picture books. As a technical starting point, I will take art works of Miriam Elia and David Shrigley and analyze approaches they use in the interaction between text and illustration. In the practical part of the task, I will explore and develop the relationship between verbal and visual through illustration.
