V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili razvojne stopnje likovnega izražanja otrok in načrtovanje likovnih dejavnosti v predšolskem obdobju. Opisali smo vsa likovna področja in predstavili, kako se ekologija vključuje v vrtce. V praktičnem delu smo načrtovali, izvedli in evalvirali pet likovnih dejavnosti z različnih likovnih področij. V dejavnosti smo vključili odpadne materiale, katere smo ponovno uporabili pri likovnih dejavnostih. Velik poudarek smo namenili ponovni uporabi odpadnih materialov in pravilnemu ravnanju z njimi.

Title:Raising children's awareness of ecology though art activities during the firs age period
Abstract:The purpose of the thesis entitled Raising children's awareness of ecology through art activities during the first age period is to present appropriate art activities that raise awareness of children in the first age period about ecology and how to bring ecology closer to the children through art activities. We were interested in the skills and knowledge of children in the same age period. The thesis presents possibilities of how to re-use waste material in art activities in the first age period. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical work. In the theoretical part the developmental stages of children's artistic expression and the planning of artistic activities during the preschool period are presented. We described all areas of art and introduced how ecology integrates into kindergartens. In the practical part, we planned, executed and evaluated five different art activities. The activities included reused waste materials.
