V poskusu smo vključili dve sorti lončnih krizantem ('Tonka Blanc', 'Jahou CoCo') in dve sorti krizantem za rezanje ('Annecy White', 'Ninja'). Rastline posajene v lonce smo po potrebi zalivali s tremi različnimi koncentracijami vode Envirolyte® (0 %, 0,1 % in 0,2 %).

Title:The influence of electrochemically activated water on the growth and development of chrysanthemums
Abstract:In 2018, we studied the influence of electrochemically activated water, prepared via using the Envirolyte® system, on the growth and development of chrysanthemums at the Iris Greenhouse at Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici. The experiment included two varieties of pot chrysanthemums ('Tonka Blanc', 'Jahou CoCo') and two varieties of cut chrysanthemums ('Annecy White', 'Ninja'). The test plants, planted in pots, were irrigated with three different concentrations of water Envirolyte® (0%, 0.1% and 0.2%). In the experiment with pot chrysanthemums, a significant influence of electrochemically activated water was obseved, which was characterised by an increased number and diameter of inflorescences as well as the fresh weight and dried weight of the plant and inflorescences. The chrysanthemums for cutting were taller and more overgrown, with a higher weight of the aboveground part of the plant. The influence of the water, prepared via the Envirolyte® system, on the growth and development of the studied varieties depended on the concentration mixure. The results of the study indicate, that water prepared via electrochemical activation has a significant influence on the growth and development of the studied chrysanthemum varieties.
