V diplomskem delu smo natančno opredelili vse zgoraj omenjene pojme in druge, ki so v povezavi s plačo in stroški dela zelo pomembni.

Title:Earnings and labour costs
Abstract:Salary is known to be a very broad term, which is understood by the vast majority as a payment that we receive once a month for work done, but there is much more to it. When we are talking about salary, we can talk about minimum wage, basic salary, gross salary, net salary and so on. Therefore, it is important for everyone to know what all the concept of pay is. Salary is part of the cost of labor. This concept is very broad, so it is difficult to know what counts as labor costs. Labor costs include net wages, social security contributions, nutrition during work, commuting to and from work, business trips, recourse, jubilee benefits and other expenses, which represent a great deal for the employer. In the diploma we have defined all the above-mentioned concepts, as well as others, which are very important in connection with salary and labor costs. We also analyzed the data we obtained on the website of the Statistical Office of Slovenia, which collects and publishes data on an annual basis. We analyzed data from 2012 to 2017. We found that during this period, the highest costs were in the Central Slovenian region, that the oldest workers had the highest salaries, that those with higher education had higher salaries than those with lower salaries that wages are higher in the public sector, that men are paid slightly better than women and that the largest share of total labor costs goes to basic gross wages. We also found that labor costs have increased by more than five percent over the last five years.
