| Abstract: | Osrednja tema magistrske naloge je umetniško delo ameriške fotografinje Diane Arbus z naslovom Fotografski opus Diane Arbus: voajerizem ali humanizem?. Za razumevanje dela Arbusove smo teoretično ovrednotili žanr dokumentarne fotografije s stališča družbene angažiranosti ter ulično fotografijo, ki se je razvila kot veja fotografskega ustvarjanja. Predstavili smo dve ključni fotografski seriji, Magazin Work in Untitled. V namene orisa Arbusinega fotografskega opusa smo vključili seminalno razstavo New Documents. Nadalje smo opredelili pojma humanizem in voajerizem. V ta namen smo izpostavili primere umetniških del, ki so nam omogočali primerjavo enega in drugega pojma. Zaradi estetskih, stilskih in tematskih vzgibov smo delo Arbusove primerjali z deli kasneje odkrite fotografinje Vivian Maier, sicer Arbusine sodobnice. S pomočjo aplicirane metodologije in uporabljenih virov smo analizirali teoretična in praktična izhodišča za razumevanje umetniškega opusa Diane Arbus. |
