Abstract:	Magistrska naloga raziskuje življenje in ustvarjanje skladatelja Blaža Puciharja. Dotika se njegovih začetkov skladanja in se nato posebej usmeri na dela, napisana za komorno zasedbo flavte in klavirja. Naloga je sestavljena iz dveh segmentov, ki zajemata teoretični in praktični del. V teoretičnem delu sta poleg kratkega razvoja flavte in predstavitve tehnik igranja skozi zgodovino opisana tudi življenje in delo izbranega skladatelja. Teoretični del je razširjen z intervjujem in izpisom skladateljevih pomembnejših del. V nadaljevanju naloge sledijo podrobne analize izbranih del za flavto in klavir, tako za nižjo in višjo raven glasbenega udejstvovanja. Analize se posvečajo v večini le flavti in njenim tehničnim ter interpretativnim prvinam. Izbrana dela, ki so napisana tako za nižjo kot za višjo stopnjo, so med seboj v sklopu posamezne ravni tudi primerjana. V sklopu praktičnega dela so dela za flavto in klavir skladatelja Blaža Puciharja tudi izvedena, s čimer se še bolj nazorno prikažejo teoretična izhodišča, ki so navedena v nalogi.

Title:	Works for Flute by Blaž Pucihar
Abstract:	This dissertation explores the life and work of the composer Blaž Pucihar. Starting with his earliest compositions, this dissertation further specializes in works written for the flute and piano chamber ensemble. It consists of two segments, a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses briefly on the development and techniques for the flute throughout history and also the life and work of the composer, which is expanded by an interview with him. His major works are also cited. In the rest of the dissertation there are also detailed analyses of selected works for flute and piano both for lower and higher levels of musical participation. The analysis is mostly concerned with flute and its technical and interpretative elements. Chosen works that are written both for lower and higher musical levels are compared to each other within the system of each of those levels. In the practical part works for the flute and the piano from the composer, Blaž Pucihar, are also performed, by which the theoretical basis from the dissertation becomes even more apparent.
