V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati kavzalno-neeksperimentalne metode raziskovanja.

Title:Analysis of same special features of work of swimming coaches with youth-team players
Abstract:The theme of the diploma thesis is work of swimming coaches with junior teams, with special attention drawn to exploring the differences in the teaching methods of coaches, trainers and swimming instructors. In the theoretical part a more detailed swimming training of younger teams is presented. It includes training, motivation, didactic aids, as well as the development of movement skills. The emphasis is placed on swimming coaches - their work areas, tasks, roles, goals, personalities, types and styles of leadership. In the empirical part the results of the causal - non - experimental research method are presented. A quantitative survey was conducted on a sample of 35 instructors / teachers / coaches from the following swimming clubs: Fužinar Ravne na Koroškem, Velenje, Rudar Trbovlje, Hrastnik, Branik Maribor and Terme Ptuj. Based on the hypotheses, it was found that, on average, swimming coaches use professional literature more than instructors, and statistically significantly use kickboards more than swimming instructors / teachers. The most important swimming instructors’, teachers’ and coaches’ goal is swimming skills improvement, and their most important aspect of work is developing motor skills. The results show that children are most motivated by balls, swimming boards and diving swimming toys, the latter being least used by coaches. It also turns out that coaches use the high-intensity maximum speed method most often, while they use the continuous method of endurance development more often than instructors do and not as often as teachers do. The findings also showed that coaches develop endurance strength to the same extent as teachers and to a lesser extent than instructors.
