Abstract:	Dandanes se tako v logističnih kot v prevoznih podjetjih srečujejo s težavami, kako izbrati način dostave ali prevoz pošiljke. Podjetja poskušajo poslovati čim bolj ekonomično, zaradi česar se poslužujejo različnih načinov dostave oziroma prevoza svojih pošiljk s čim nižjimi stroški. Ker so lahko pošiljke zelo različne po obliki, dimenziji in masi, je zelo pomembno, kakšen način prevoza izberemo. Zaradi omenjenih raznolikosti ne poznamo univerzalnega pravila, ampak je vsakokrat potrebno analizirati in preveriti možnosti prevoza za optimalno končno dostavo. Poznamo dva načina, ki se najbolj uporabljata v velikih prevoznih podjetjih. Najenostavnejši je neposreden prevoz, ki je, kot že ime pove, neposreden od točke A do B, brez vmesnih postankov. Drugi način je prevoz po modelu »hub-and-spoke«. To je prevoz z večjim številom pošiljk hkrati. V tem modelu so t. i. »hub-i« vozlišča, v katerih se pošiljke zbirajo ter pripravijo na skupen prevoz in »spoke-i«, ki predstavljajo izhodiščne točke ali pa končne destinacije, v katere je pošiljka namenjena. V postopku izbire med dvema modeloma je na prvem mestu vedno želja stranke. Stranka lahko določi, na kakšen način želi, da je pošiljka prenesena. Če stranka določi le datum prevzema in dostave, se lahko sami odločamo, na kakšen način bo dostavljena. V podjetju analiziramo pošiljke. Z analizo preverimo dimenzije, maso ter izvirno in namembno mesto pošiljke. V diplomski nalogi smo raziskali težave in postopek izbire v logističnem podjetju Jöbstl. Opravili smo analizo izbire in učinkovitosti načina prevoza. Prav tako smo raziskali način, s katerim lahko izboljšamo postopek in prevoz. Podali smo predloge in rešitve za optimizacijo prevoznih modelov, s katerimi bi lahko izboljšali oskrbovalno verigo kot sam proces prevoza različnih pošiljk od pošiljatelja do prejemnika.

Title:	The choise of the distribution model at the company jöbstl
Abstract:	Nowadays in logistics and the transport business, companies encounter the problematics of the ideal way to transport or to deliver a shipment. Companies try to use a way that is the most cost effective and efficient to maximize profit. Shipments can be in all sizes, shapes and masses. That is the reason that we must analyse every shipment and check the possibilities for the transport for the ideal end delivery. We are familiar with two main ways of transport that are used in the biggest transport companies. The simplest transport is the direct transport, the name itself already explains the transport which is direct from point A to point B. The other way to transport a shipment is with the »Hub-and-Spoke« system, which is a system that combines more shipments into one transport to reduce the cost per shipment. In this model »Hub-s« are the nodes in which the shipments are sorted together and wait for the transport. And »Spoke-s« are the starting or ending points of shipments. In the selection process between the two models, the most important factor is the wish of the client. The client can decide if he wants a direct transport or a »Hub-and-Spoke« transport. In the case that the client only gives us a pick-up date and a delivery date we can use any kind of transport to deliver the shipment on time. First, we must analyse the shipment in which we check the dimensions, mass and also the start and end point of the shipment. In this thesis we researched the problematics and the process of choosing between the two ways of transportation in the company Jöbstl. We have also done an analysis of the effectiveness of the transport choice and how to improve this process. We presented our suggestions and solutions for the optimization of the transport models with which we could optimize the supply chain as well as the transport process for different shipments from sender to recipient.
