Title:Efficiency of behavioral-cognitive therapy in treating children and adolescents with hyperkinetic disorder
Abstract:In thesis we have presented the effectiveness of behavioral-cognitive therapy in children and adolescents with hyperkinetic disorder and the role of the nurse. In the thesis, we used literature review. We conducted a review, analysis and synthesis of professional domestic and foreign literature and interpretation of scientific resources in the field of behavioral-cognitive therapy and hyperkinetic disorders in children / adolescents. We used a descriptive research method of work. Data were processed by qualitative content analysis. We have found that the use of behavioral-cognitive therapy is effective because it helps children and adolescents with hyperkinetic disorders in a way that reduces their unwanted symptoms and signs and improves their overall functioning. The role of nurses is also important, as is the knowledge of some behavioral-cognitive therapy techniques that may be involved in the treatment of children / adolescents.
