Zanimali so me vidiki vodenja zbora zaposlenih z vidika samoevalviranja, metode in oblike samorefleksije in tudi izkušnje drugih zborovodij s podobno izkušnjo vodenja pevskega zbora. V ta namen sem uporabil različne načine spremljanja in raziskovanja lastnega dela (metode hospitacije, vodenja osebnega dnevnika in analiza posnetkov).

Title:Conducting a Choir of Employed People - A Case Study
Abstract:The master's thesis entitled Conducting a Choir of Employees - A Case Study is based on the experience of leading a women's choir of employees of the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor. In the theoretical part of the master’s thesis, I described a brief historical outline of vocal music in Slovenia, the current situation of choral conducting in Slovenia, theoretical starting points of choral conducting, and the psychology of group management. I was interested in the aspects of leading a choir of employees in terms of self-evaluation, the methods and forms of self-reflection, as well as the experiences of other conductors with similar experiences with leading a choir. I used different ways of monitoring and researching my own work (methods of hospitation, keeping a personal diary, and analysing recordings). The second part of the empirical part of the thesis is quantitative research, which was conducted with the help of a questionnaire. There were 61 respondents and the target group was conductors from all over Slovenia. With the help of the questionnaire, I found that conductors rarely encounter choir of employees, that the vast majority of choir conductors are musically educated, that the majority of choir conductors use didactic and motivational resources and that only a few of the participants in the questionnaire have set up their own choir.
