Merjeni parametri so bili hitrost plavanja, koncentracija krvnega laktata, število zaveslajev, frekvenca zaveslajev in frekvenca srca.

Title:The effects of a six-week general preparation period on the anaerobic threshold of swimmers
Abstract:The main goal of the thesis is to determine how much we can improve the speed of swimming on the anaerobic threshold after a 6-week general preparation period. At the same time, the aim is to compare other measured parameters before and after the preparation period. The purpose is to show that anaerobic threshold tests are an extremely convenient and simple tool for assessing the swimmer's endurance profile. The study compared the results of an anaerobic threshold test using an OBLA system (onset of blood lactate accumulation) between the first measurement on 9.9.2019 and the second on 21.10.2019. Six swimmers, three men and three women, performed the testing twice. The measured parameters were swimming speed, blood lactate concentration, number of strokes, frequency of strokes and heart rate. A procedure of 3x4x200 meters freestyle was used to determine the anaerobic threshold according to the OBLA system. We found that, despite the improvement of all measured parameters, there was a minimal difference in swimming speed at the anaerobic threshold. It can be concluded that the progress after the 6-week preparatory period is obvious but minimal.
