Title:Microsoft Azure authentication
Abstract:Applications use many third party resources or services to do so they need to generate access tokens which grant access to secured resources. To get an access token application or user must be authenticated and authorized. Authorization and authentication are both done usign OAuth2 or OpenID Connect industrial standards which are part of Azure Active Directory. One such application is intern application that runs in company HRC d.o.o. for which we implemented automatic generation of access token that we use for Microsoft Graph services to read e-mail. In this thesis we describe authentication flows to get access tokens along with technologies used in our implementation.
Keywords:access tokens, authentication flows, Microsoft Graph, JSON Web Tokens
