Abstract:Škodljiva uporaba spolnih ideologij še naprej ostaja prisotna v tradicionalnih medijih, medtem ko razvoj digitalizacije spodbuja napredek globalne povezanosti med potrošniki, kar se kaže v naraščanju obveščenosti in osveščenosti glede družbenih problematik. Potrošniki obenem težijo k uresničevanju intelektualnega in čustvenega odnosa do določene blagovne znamke, s čimer povečujejo pomen prepričanj, vizij in poslanstev blagovnih znamk v primerjavi s kakovostjo nekega izdelka. Raziskovalni rezultati so potrdili obstoj pozitivne korelacije v smeri spolne-nevtralnosti in preferenc blagovnih znamk.

Title:Vpliv identitete spola blagovne znamke na preferenco izbire digitalnega potrošnika
Abstract:While the harmful usage of gender ideology can still be noted within the traditional media, development of digitalisation allows for the growth of strong global connections amongst consumer, resulting in higher awareness around social issues. Accordingly, contemporary generations of digital consumers develop offensive views towards traditional gender representations within the advertising industry, encouraging progressive stands about gender perception and definement, shifting the attention towards forming new social views, rejecting categorization and focusing on the unique values and characteristics of an individual. Consumers simultaneously tend toward achieving intellectual and emotional relationships with brands, adding higher value towards values, visions and missions of the brands in regards to the quality of the product. The aim of this research is in evaluating the reach of digital trends in brand advertising amongst the digital consumers of Southcentral Europe. The main aim is exploring an exsistence of correlated gender identity preferences amongst digital consumers in brands‘ visual communication. The research results confirmed the existence of positive correlation in direction of gender-neutrality and brand preference amongst digital consumers. Furthermore, the research showed that the consumers held higher preferences towards gender-neutrality in specific cases of fashion and beauty-care industries while the preference of traditional gendered approaches was higher in children’s fashion and toys industry.
