Abstract:
Diplomsko delo opisuje namen in uporabo virtualnih privatnih omrežij za anonimno deskanje po spletu. Predstavljen je način vzpostavitve lastnega omrežja VPN (angl. Virtual Private Network – virtualno privatno omrežje) pri ponudniku oblačnih storitev. Kot alternativa je predstavljena tudi uporaba plačljivih omrežij VPN, pri čemer se analizirata njihova zmogljivost in politika zbiranja podatkov, prav tako se prikažejo razlike med njimi.

Title:
Anonymous surfing with VPN networks
Abstract:
The thesis highlights the usage of virtual private networks (VPN) for anonymous web surfing purposes. It also describes the set up of own VPN network at the cloud service provider. The study presents the usage of paid VPNs as an alternative to the first, where both types of networks are analysed and compared in terms of performance and in the case of commercial VPNs, their data collection policies.
