Abstract:Živimo v času, v katerem so se vrednote staršev in vzgoja zelo spremenili.

Title:Work habits in preschool children
Abstract:Values of the parents and the way they bring up their children has changed drastically over the last few decades. Work habits are seen as a gift from parents to their children, meant to help them throughout their life. They learn them and they internalise them. But it all depends on how good of an example their parent set or their will to do so. This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the importance of work habits in preschool children and researches the ways, in which parents encourage their development. It explains the basic meaning of upbringing and its importance for the children. The thesis also defines work habits and analyses which factors influence the development of work habits. The empirical part of the thesis shows data that was obtained with the help of a questionnaire, which was answered by 77 parents of preschool children. The results show that parents are aware of the importance of work habits and their development, regardless of their level of education. The results also show, younger children need more help with everyday chores than older children.
