Abstract:V doktorski disertaciji smo ocenili tehnično učinkovitost turističnih kmetij v Sloveniji s pomočjo metode analitični hieararhični proces (AHP) in analiza ovojnice podatkov (DEA).

Title:Analysis of efficiency of tourist farms in Slovenia by using analytical hieararchical process (AHP) and data envelopment analysis (DEA)
Abstract:In the thesis the technical efficiency of tourist farms in Slovenia is evaluated by using analytical hieararchical process (AHP) and data envelopment analysis (DEA). Based on six inputs and four outputs six different models for evaluation of efficiency of tourist farm have been developed. By the use of DEA method the input and output oriented BCC and CCR models have been developed. By the method AHP, first the model comprising identical criteria as the DEA models has been developed, whereas into the second AHP model additional, non-numerical criteria were incorporated, thus improving the DEA method. The model results show that improvements are possible at all efficiency levels as well in the criteria of additional offer of tourist farms analysed in AHP model by additional criteria. According to the evaluated efficiency the ranking of tourist farms differred from one method to the other. Within the group of farms evaluated by the DEA as efficient the AHP allowed more accurate ranking.
