Title:Primerjava razvoja govora enojezičnega in dvojezičnega otroka

Abstract:V diplomskem delu je bilo predstavljeno naše delo s pomočjo strokovnih razlag in različnih nalog, s katerimi je bila narejena primerjava, kako se govor razvija pri dveh otrocih. V teoretičnem delu je bila osredotočenost na predstavitvi razvoja govora, kako se ta razvija v predšolskem obdobju, omenjeni sta bili tudi koherentnost in kohezivnost. Poglobljenost primerjave predstavljajo tudi definicije jezika, razlika med jezikom in govorom, prav tako metajezikovne zmožnosti in, kot je zapisano v najpomembnejšem poglavju diplomskega dela, značilnosti o dvojezičnosti. V praktičnem delu je bilo predstavljeno delo na konkretno podanih nalogah, ki sta jih otroka izvajala. Kasneje je bila izvedena analiza, primerjava med otrokoma ter tudi posameznikov razvoj od ene do druge izvedbe. Vzorec sta sestavljala dva otroka, deček in deklica, ki sta bila ob pričetku našega opazovanja stara pet let.

Title:A comparison of monolingual and bilingual child's speech development
Abstract:In the thesis we present our work through professional explanations and various tasks, with which we were able to compare how the speech develops in two children. The theoretical part focuses on the presentation of speech development, how it develops in the pre-school period, and mentions coherence and cohesion. We also look further into the definitions of language, and the difference between language and speech. Furthermore, we touched upon the metalinguistic ability, and in our most important chapter, we wrote down the characteristics of bilingualism. The practical part shows the work on the specifically given tasks that the two children had to complete. We the analyse and compare the children’s common and individual progress from one performance to another. The sample consisted of two children, a boy and a girl, both five years old at the beginning of our observation.
