Abstract:	Okoljska problematika je v zadnjih dveh desetletjih pridobila izjemno pozornost, ne le s strani gospodarskih subjektov in političnih organizacij, temveč tudi s strani širše javnosti. Za dobro pokritost le-te skrbi cela paleta mednarodnih organizacij, med katerimi je tudi naša obravnavana IPCC. IPCC na letni ravni izda posebna poročila, ki zajemajo določene teme, ki so v tistem trenutku pereče oz. odmevne. Prav tako je bilo v primeru posebnega poročila »Global Warming of 1.5 ºC«, ki je bilo izdano leta 2018 na konferenci v Incheon-u, v Republiki Južni Koreji. Čeprav so poročila pomembnega pomena za širjenje informacij, se je velikokrat pripetilo, da so le-ta postala tarča kritik; razlogi za to tičijo v pomanjkljivih informacijah in tudi v vmešavanju politike. Ta magistrska naloga analizira specifično tematiko poročila, in sicer predvsem vključenost CO2 in njegovih ekvivalentov v navezi s transportom v samem poročilu oz. njegovih referencah. Obenem bo obravnavano trenutno stanje raziskovanja iste tematike kot v poročilu (s pomočjo znanstvenih baz) ter s tem vpogled v trenutno stanje raziskovanja v primerjavi s tistim v poročilu.

Title:	Review of special report from IPCC »Global Warming of 1,5 ºC«
Abstract:	Environmental issues have gained tremendous attention over the past two decades; not only by economic operators and political organizations, but also by the general public. Good coverage is ensured by a whole range of international organizations, one of which is also the chosen IPCC organization. The IPCC issues special reports on an annual basis, which cover certain topics that are attention-grabbing at the time. One of such cases was also the special report “Global Warming of 1.5 ºC”, whcih was issued in 2018 at a conference in Incheon, Republic of South Korea. Although reports are important at spreading information, it has many times occured, that they became a target of criticism; the reasons ranging from lack of new informations to policy interferences. This master`s thesis thus analyzes the specific topic of the report; especially the inclusion of CO2 and its equivalents in connection with transport in the report itself or his references. At the same time, the current state of research of the same topic as in the report will be discussed with the help of databases of scientific publications, and thus an insight into the current state of research will be achived, compared to the one in the report itself.
