Abstract:
Na osnovi pregleda tehnik in dobrih praks predstavimo postopek izdelave hibridne animacije in z njo ovrednotimo zmožnost človeškega zaznavanja elementov v navideznem okolju. Z rezultati smo pokazali, da hibridna animacija omogoča odlično zaznavanje scenskih elementov in posledično potrdili njeno uporabno vrednost v primerjavi s tradicionalnimi metodami.

Title:
Analysis of hybrid animation techniques in comparison to traditional approaches
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on techniques of hybrid animation and their evaluation in terms of efficiency as a medium. The theoretical study covers the advantages and disadvantages of traditional animation techniques, and the challenges of combining them. Based on the review of techniques and good practices, we introduce the process of hybrid animation and its evaluation in terms of human perception. The results were divided into environmental and character perception. The results show that hybrid animation provides excellent perception of the stage elements and, consequently, possess added value in comparison to traditional approaches.
