Abstract:	ERP sistem je programska oprema, ki se uporablja v organizacijah za spremljanje in vodenje različnih poslovnih procesov, ki v podjetju potekajo. Ta programska oprema podjetjem lahko pomaga pri zniževanju stroškov, ustvarjanju dodatne vrednosti in povečevanju uspešnosti in učinkovitosti podjetja. ERP sistemi se uporabljajo za avtomatizacijo poslovnih procesov in njihovo medsebojno integracijo. Za uspešno uvedbo in uporabo ERP sistemov, morajo podjetja premagati in obvladati številne izzive in ovire. Izzivi in ovire segajo od tistih, ki se pojavljajo znotraj podjetja do tistih, ki se pojavljajo v okolju podjetja. Poleg tega, obstajajo še številni dejavniki, ki vplivajo na uspešno uvedbo in uporabo ERP sistema, kot so npr. koraki, ki jim je treba slediti ali izbira pristopa k uvajanju ERP sistema. V prvem delu diplomskega projekta smo najprej predstavili definicije ERP sistemov, različnih avtorjev in predstavili smo sisteme, ki so predhodili nastanku ERP sistemov. V tem delu smo tudi ERP sisteme razdelili na tradicionalne in oblačne in smo vsako vrsto posebej opisali. Navedli smo nekatere razloge, zakaj naj bi podjetja potrebovala ERP sisteme, povezali ERP sisteme z e-poslovanjem, proučili smo največje ponudnike ERP sistemov in opisali osnovne module ERP sistemov. Potem smo se osredotočili na postopek uvedbe ERP sistema v podjetje ter smo opisali korake, ki jim je treba slediti pri uvedbi in pristope, ki jim lahko sledimo. Predstavili smo tudi področja, kjer se pojavlja največ stroškov pri uvedbi in izzive, ki se pojavljajo pri uvedbi. Namen drugega dela ali praktičnega dela diplomskega projekta je bil prikazati kako Podjetje X, proizvodno podjetje, katerega glavna dejavnost je proizvodnja čokolade, uporablja ERP sistem Microsoft Dynamics NAV za vodenje in spremljanje poslovanja. Predstavili smo 4 glavne poslovne procese v Podjetju X in sicer: proizvodnja, nabava, prodaja in finance. Nato smo navedene procese povezali z ERP sistemom Microsoft Dynamics NAV in pokazali smo kako lahko podjetje uporablja vsak modul.

Title:	Use of erp system in enterprise 'x'
Abstract:	ERP system is a software used in organizations to monitor and manage various business processes that take place in a company. This software can help businesses to reduce costs, create added value and increase business preformance and efficiency. ERP systems are used to automate business processes and to integrate them between themselves. To successfully deploy and use ERP systems, companies need to overcome and manage a number of challenges and obstacles. Challenges and obstacles range from those that arise within the company to those that arise in the company environment. In addition, there are many factors that affect successful implementation and use of ERP system, such as e.g. steps to follow during implementation or choosing an approach to implement an ERP system. In the first part of the project, we presented the definitions of ERP systems by various authors and presented the systems that preceded the emergence of ERP systems. In this part, we also divided ERP systems into traditional and cloud and described each type separately. We have given some reasons why companies need ERP systems, desribed connection between ERP systems and e-business, studied the largest providers of ERP systems and described the basic modules of ERP systems. We then focused on the process of implementing an ERP system in a company and described the steps to follow in the implementation process and the approaches that can be followed. We also presented the areas where the most implementation costs occur and the challenges that arise during the implementation. The purpose of the second part or practical part of the project was to show how Company X, a manufacturing company whose main activity is the production of chocolate, uses the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV to manage and monitor business. We presented 4 main business processes in Company X: production, purchasing, sales and finance. We then integrated these processes with the Dynamics NAV tool and showed how a company can use each module.
