Abstract:	Vsako podjetje ne glede na to, ali je profitno ali neprofitno, potrebuje dobrega managerja. Management pri svojem delu opravlja predvsem štiri funkcije. V tem delu bomo predstavili in razložili planiranje, organiziranje, vodenje in kontroling. Podrobneje bomo predstavili profitne in neprofitne organizacije, za kaj katero deluje, v dobrobit koga deluje, kako deluje. Za praktični primer profitne organizacije bomo uporabili podjetje Geberit proizvodnja d. o. o., ki je vodilno podjetje v sanitarni tehniki. Osrednja tema oziroma naloga tega dela je, primerjava opravljanja managementskih funkcij v profitnih in neprofitnih organizacijah. Tukaj se bomo posvetili vsaki funkciji posebej in navedli razlike. Glavna ugotovitev te naloge je, ugotovitev razlik med managentskimi funkcijami v obeh primerih organizacije. Kje se pojavlja največ in najmanj razlik in podobnosti.

Title:	Comparison of management functions in profit and nonprofit organizations
Abstract:	Every business, whether it is for-profit or non-profit, needs a good manager. Management performs four functions in its work. In this part, we will present and explain planning, organizing, leading and controlling. We will take a deeper look in for-profit and non-profit organizations, for what each works, for the benefit of whom it works, how it works. For a practical example of a for-profit organization, we will use the company Geberit proizvodnja d. o. o., which is a leading company in sanitary engineering. The main topic or task of this work is the comparison of performing management functions in for-profit and non-profit organizations. Here we will focus on each function separately and list the differences. The main finding of this task is to identify differences between management functions in both cases of the organization. Where the most and least differences and similarities occur.
