Abstract:Plavajoči vrtovi so bili narejeni v okviru diplomske naloge. V projektu so bili štirje plavajoči vrtovi. Dva sta imela dodan substrat, dva sta bila brez njega. Na vseh štirih so bile nasajene enake vrste zelenjadnic. Primerjali smo rast in razvoj rastlin, zelene listne mase in korenine.

Title:Aquaponics - floating gardens on domestic ponds for a self-sustaining vegetable growing system
Abstract:Floating gardens on a domestic pond were set up as part of the thesis project. Its purpose was to determine whether vegetables could be grown on a domestic pond and what materials would be most suitable for setting up these gardens. There were four floating gardens in the project. Two of them had added substrate and two of them were without substrate. The same types of vegetables were planted on all four of them. Plat growth, development, green leaf mass and roots were compared. It became evident that it woult be better to use some different materials. One of them would be the vineyard wire with which we tied the net on the underside of the frame, because it was too thin and broke off easily. It would also be better to use harder galvanized wire. Weeds appeared in gardens with added substrate, but not in gardens without substrate.
