Abstract:Na kmetiji Erker smo izvedli poizkus, pri katerem smo dodajali krmnemu obroku vodo in spremljali čas mešanja. Zanimalo nas je, kako sprememba sušine obroka in čas mešanja vplivata na homogenost in porazdelitev delcev krme. Prehranski poizkus smo razdelili na tri dele. V prvem delu poizkusa smo vzorčili standardni krmni obrok s sušino 42 % in ga mešali 10 minut. V drugem delu smo standardnemu krmnemu obroku s sušino 38 % dodali vodo in mešali 15 minut. Porazdelitev delcev sveže krme smo določili s siti Penn State Particle Separator (PSPS). Prebiranje smo preverili s siti PSPS 12 ur in 24 ur po sveže pokladanem krmnem obroku.

Title:Effect of feeding wagon feed preparation on the homogeneity and feed screening in dairy cows
Abstract:At the Erker farm, an experiment was performed in which water was added to the feed ration and the mixing time was monitored. The focus was on how the change in meal dryness and mixing time affected the homogeneity and distribution of feed particles. The dietary experiment was divided into three parts. In the first part of the experiment, we sampled a standard feed ration with a dryness of 42% and mixed it for 10 minutes. In the second part, water was added to the standard feed ration with a dryness of 38% and stirred for 15 minutes. The last part was based on sampling the feed of a standard meal with a dryness of 42%, and the mixing time was extended from 10 to 15 minutes. The particle distribution of fresh feed was determined with a Penn State Particle Separator (PSPS). Reading was checked with PSPS sieves 12 hours and 24 hours after a freshly stacked feed ration. The dryness of the meal was monitored every day of the experiment during the feeding of the feed, it was determined using a fryer in warm air. Statistical data processing was performed with the statistical package SPSS 25.1 for Windows. GLM analysis and Tukey test were used to compare residues at each site within meals. We used the t-test to compare meal reading after 12 and 24 hours separately compared to the meal. The results of statistical analysis of the meal (38 % DM and 15 min) show that the fourth place on sieve 4 differs significantly (p <0.05) from other places and we can say that the addition of water has a significant impact on the homogeneity of the meal. The results show that the addition of water reduces the average consumption of DM/cow/day by 0.9 kg or increases the feed residue by 2.06%.
