Abstract:	Magistrsko delo obravnava problematiko Rekreacijskega parka Fazanerija v Murski soboti ter mestnega kopališča v njem. Območje obdelave tvori severozahodni rob mesta, ki ga definirata reka Ledava in Razbremenilni kanal. Velik del spada med degradirana območja, zato je revitalizacija že dolgo načrtovana. Ker je skoraj celotni park podrejen vodovarstvenemu režimu in je mestni gozd v njem zaščiten kot spomenik oblikovane narave, se ob revitalizaciji pojavljajo razne omejitve, ki smo jih glede na racionalnost upoštevali z večjo ali manjšo mero. Na podlagi prostorskih in teoretičnih analiz je izdelana idejna zasnova prenove, kjer se osredotočamo na ustvarjanje krajinske in grajene strukture, ki celotni park obogati fizično, funkcionalno in programsko. Poveže ga z mestom in vodo; hkrati krepi socialno vključenost in generacijsko pestrost uporabnikov. Ker je park v prvi vrsti namenjen uporabi lokalnih prebivalcev, še naprej ohranjamo in poudarjamo njegov športno-rekreacijski značaj, medtem ko posebno pozornost posvečamo okoljevarstvu in varstvenim režimom. Natančneje se osredotočamo na prenovo kopališča, ki je že dolgo potrebna, saj mesto navkljub svoji funkciji regionalnega središča, še vedno nima pokritega plavalnega bazena; ob uporabi geotermalne vode iz bližnje vrtine ideja o prenovi postaja čedalje bolj realna. Nov objekt, ki poleg bazenov vključuje še gostinski lokal in wellness storitve, povzdigne raven športnega in rekreacijskega plavanja v Murski Soboti ter podaljša plavalno sezono z nekaj mesecev na celo leto.

Title:	Renovation of the city swimming pool in the Park Fazanerija Murska Sobota
Abstract:	The master’s thesis discusses the issue of the Fazanerija Recreation Park in Murska Sobota and the town bathing area in it. The discussed area forms the northwestern edge of the town defined by the Ledava River and the Relief Canal. Much of it is a part of degraded areas. Therefore, revitalization has long been planned. Because almost the entire park is subject to the water protection regime and the town forest in it is protected as a monument of formed nature, different restrictions appear during the revitalization which we considered to a greater or a lesser extent concerning rationality. Based on spatial and theoretical analyses, the conceptual design of the renovation is made where we focus on creating a landscape and built structure that enriches the entire park physically, functionally, and programmatically. It connects it to the town and water. At the same time, it strengthens social inclusion and the generational diversity of users. Because the park is intended for the use of the local residents primarily, we continue to preserve and emphasize its sports and recreational character while, however, we pay special attention to environmental protection and protection regimes. In more detail, we focus on the renovation of the bathing area which has long been needed because the town – despite its function as a regional center – still does not have an indoor swimming pool. With the use of geothermal water from a nearby well, the idea of renovation is also becoming more and more realistic. The new facility – which in addition to swimming pools also includes a restaurant and wellness services – raises the level of sports and recreational swimming in Murska Sobota and extends the swimming season from a few months to a whole year.
