V vsaki fazi upravljanja talentov morajo imeti izbrane pravilne metode in strategije; učinkovit načrt izobraževanja, usposabljanja ali izpopolnjevanja; in znati prepoznati in ohranjati talent.

Title:The identification and development of talent in organizations in slovenia
Abstract:Over the last decade, organizations all over the world that work in different fields were faced with changes that have forced their management teams to adapt their business and work strategies. In addition, we have witnessed the fast growth of several new techniques and technologies in various markets, which also affected the field of talent management. The organizations have started to realize the importance of talent among their employees, as this is what gives them a competitive and business advantage. However, the organizations need to be aware that, in many cases, talent alone is not enough – the company needs to have an effectively designed system of talent management in order to achieve both the short-term and the long-term goals of the organization. At each stage of talent management, the organizations must choose the right methods and strategies; have an effective plan for education and further training; and know how to recognize and retain talent. Our goal is to present the problems in the aforementioned field, namely, the problems that the organizations face in the individual phases of attraction, recognition, development, and retention of talent. Based on this, we conducted a survey of various employees in various fields, the results of which we later described, analysed, and supported with the already-conducted international research, which Slovenia was also a part of. To this, we also added the causes and consequences of the situation. Lastly, based on all of this, we made some suggestions and presented several solutions for improvements in talent management.
