Abstract:V raziskovalnem delu smo aprila 2019 raziskovali pestrost čebel v ekološkem nasadu jablan (Malus domestica B.) Fakultete za kmetijstvo in biosistemske vede Maribor na sorti 'Topaz'. Ob ugotavljanju pestrosti smo merili še številčnost čebel in njihovo aktivnost v neposredni povezavi z vremenskimi okoliščinami.

Title:The Diversity of Pollinators in Apple Orchard
Abstract:In April 2019, the bee diversity in organic apple orchards (Malus domestica B.) of the Topaz variety was investigated at the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences in Maribor. In determining the diversity, the number of bees and their activity in direct connection with weather conditions were also measured and observed. Sampling was performed for three consecutive days by trapping the bees in plastic bags, at two 90-minute intervals per day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. At the same time, we were also interested in whether the bees are attracted to a specific color, for which we used the method of hunting with colored plates. The results of the research showed that the number of honey bees (Apis mellifera) was predominant, and wild bees also represented an almost equal share of pollinators. Air temperature did not show a major effect on bee numbers. The yellow color was the most interesting for the bees. The baits of this color are chosen by the largest number of pollinators and the largest number of different species of bees.
