Title:Spremembe v dnevnih aktivnostih in počitku pri pacientih s shizofrenijo

Abstract:Izhodišča: Shizofrenija je kronična možganska motnja, ki se v svoji aktivni fazi kaže s simptomi, kot so blodnje, halucinacije, neurejen govor, težave z razmišljanjem in upad motivacije. Namen zaključnega dela je raziskati spremembe v dnevnih aktivnostih in počitku pri pacientih s shizofrenijo. Metode: Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela, v empiričnem delu pa kvalitativno metodologijo raziskovanja. Opravili smo intervju s pacientko, ki ima diagnosticirano shizofrenijo. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da ima pacientka težave s kronično utrujenostjo, oslabljena je njena fizična aktivnost, pojavlja se nezmožnost za opravljanje različnih aktivnosti. Navaja pripravljenost za doseganje višje ravni zdravja. Pacientka je sicer samostojna pri osebni higieni in oblačenju. Težav s spanjem ne navaja. Diskusija in zaključek: Kakovost življenja niso le posameznikove finančne zmožnosti, ampak je povezana tudi z občutkom zadovoljstva z lastnim življenjem. Pomembno je, da se posameznik z diagnozo shizofrenije zna soočati z vsakodnevnimi aktivnostmi. Pomoč in motivacija sta izredno pomembni za kakovost življenja pacienta s shizofrenijo in pripomoreta k njegovi sprejetosti v družbo.

Title:Changes in daily activities and rest in patients with schizophrenia
Abstract:Introduction: Schizophrenia is a chronic brain disorder. When schizophrenia is active, symptoms can include delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, trouble with thinking and lack of motivation. This diploma thesis aims to explore changes in daily activities and rest in patients with schizophrenia. Methods: A descriptive method as well as qualitative research method were conducted in an empirical part of the thesis. And interview has been conducted with a patient diagnosed with schizophrenia. Results: This thesis revealed patients’ problems with chronic fatigue, impaired physical activity, as well as her inability to perform physical activity. Patients’ willingness to achieve higher level of health has been recognized. The patient is otherwise capable of independent personal care. She does not report sleep problems. Discussion and conclusion: Quality of life is not only measured by an individual's financial capabilities, but is also related to a sense of satisfaction with one's own life. It is important that an individual diagnosed with schizophrenia is able to cope with daily activities. Help and motivation are extremely important for the quality of life and may contribute to acceptance in society.
