Abstract:	Projektno delo postaja vedno bolj pogosta dejavnost v naših vrtcih. Omogoča drugačno delo v odnosih do drugih ljudi, spoznavanju širše okolice in drugih dejavnosti izven vrtca. Pri uresničitvi tega interesa je najpomembnejši otrok kot posameznik, starši in nenazadnje tudi vzgojiteljev interes, da celotno projektno delo organizira. V tem procesu je potrebnih več različnih ljudi, ki širijo otrokovo osebnost, socialno okolje in vedoželjnost. Pri projektnem delu se otrok uči, pridobi nove izkušnje, znanja in spoznanja o širši okolici. Namen našega projektnega dela je otrokom predstaviti naše mesto Slovenj Gradec, kjer smo v ospredje postavili ples in plesne dejavnosti. Prvi del diplomske naloge zajema teoretični del, kjer so podrobno opisane znamenitosti mesta.. V drugem delu je na kratko predstavljen empirični del diplomske naloge, ker je bil naš glavni cilj otroke seznaniti z mestom v katerem živijo. Poudarek smo dali na nekaj znamenitostih mesta, ki nosijo bogato zgodovinsko zgodbo. V tretjem delu pa so opisane in predstavljene dejavnosti, ki smo jih izvajali skozi projektni mesec. Osredotočili smo se na znamenitosti gradu Rotenturn, medičarstvo in svečarstvo Perger ter glasbeno šolo Huga Wolfa. Celotni projekt se je izvajal v mestu Slovenj Gradec, kjer je tudi matični vrtec. Naše projektno delo temelji na teoriji projektnega dela, zato si sledi po naslednjih etapah: pobuda, skiciranje projekta, načrtovanje, izvajanje in sklepni del.

Title:	Cultural heritage of Slovenj Gradec as an incentive for dance creation
Abstract:	Project work is becoming an increasingly frequent activity in our kindergartens. It enables different work in relations to other people, discovering the wider surroundings and other activities outside the kindergarten. To realize this interest, the most important thing is the child as an individual, parents and, last but not least, the educator's interest to organise the entire project work. This process requires several diverse people who are able to broaden the child’s personality, social environment and inquisitiveness. In project work, the child learns, gains new experiences, knowledge and insights about the wider surroundings. The purpose of our project work, where we put dance and dance activities into the foreground, is to introduce children to our city of Slovenj Gradec. The first part of the diploma thesis includes a theoretical part, which exhaustively describes the sights of the city that we will learn about. The second part briefly presents the empirical part of the thesis, because our main goal was to acquaint the children with the city in which they live. We focused particularly on some of the sights of the city that carry a long history. The third part of the thesis describes and presents the activities that we executed during the project month. We focused on the sights of Rotenturn castle, honeybread confectionery and chandlery Perger and Hugo Wolf Music School.
