Abstract:Opis : V patronažnem zdravstvenem varstvu je diplomirana medicinska sestra nosilka zdravstvene nege in oskrbe na domu posameznika.

Title:The role of community nursing and support for families at risk
Abstract:Introduction: In Community health care a nurse provides health care at home of an individual. Community nurses discover families at risk in their daily field work, so it is important that they know their field of work to provide appropriate assistance. The purpose of the final work is to investigate how community nurses in community care treat socially disadvantaged families and what risks people face. Methods: We reviewed professional literature in Slovene and English. We searched the professional literature in the databases Pub Med, Google Scholar, Cobiss. The articles that we used to in the final work were not older than 10 years, and were fully accessible. A survey questionnaire was used to collect data. Results: Social endangerment is high in Slovenia, as most community nurses encounter it in their work. Unemployment and poverty are most reflected in social vulnerability. Discussion and conclusion: As the social risk increases from year to year, community nurses play a major role in community care, as they enter the home environment of the family and are also the first to provide appropriate helpans support and, if necessary, incluce other community services.
