Abstract:Depresija je globalni problem sodobne družbe. Povzroča emocionalno škodo in posledično socialno-ekonomske posledice. Je ena najpogostejših duševnih motenj v mladostništvu, povezana s samomori in visokimi stroški zdravljenja. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo raziskovanja. Učinki preventivnih programov so različni glede obravnavane populacije in na njihovo razširjenost.

Title:The effectiveness of depression prevention programs for adolescents
Abstract:Depression is a global problem of modern society. In the past, it was attributed only to adults, but in modern times it is increasingly occurring in adolescents and often remains untreated. Then it can have consequences in later life. It affects social, intellectual life, home life and physical health. It causes emotional damage and consequently socio-economic consequences. It is one of the most common mental disorders in youth, associated with self and high health care costs. We used a descriptive research method. We collected data from various articles and research, reviewed and analyzed them, and used them to produce the concluding work. The literature search was performed using inclusion and exclusion criteria and is shown using a PRISMA diagram.Preventive programs to prevent depression in adolescents have a number of positive effects. The programs differ depending on the population or symptoms of depression that they treat. Their effectiveness varies, but globally, their effects on depressing depression are positive and inhibit its development. Many programs have been developed in the last two decades to alleviate the increase in symptoms and reduce the incidence of depressive disorders. Prevention of depression should be optimal before the onset of the disease and cover the entire population of young people. The effects of prevention programs vary according to the population under consideration and their prevalence. More research will need to be done to increase predictability of success.
