Abstract:Na trajnem travniškem poskusu smo izvedli raziskavo o vplivu pogostnosti rabe travne ruše (2-kosna; 4-kosna in 4-kosna – pri kateri vsako drugo leto pustimo prvi odkos v polno cvetenje) in klimatskih dejavnikov v posameznem letu (2003, 2014 in 2020), ki vplivajo na količino pridelka suhe snovi. Največji pridelek (8,85 t SS/ha) smo dosegli s 4-kosno rabo, kjer vsako drugo leto pustimo prvi odkos v polno cvetenje. Pridelka 2-kosne in 4-kosne rabe (8,28 in 7,87 t SS/ha) pa sta statistično primerljiva. Pridelki se statistično značilno razlikujejo tudi po posameznih primerjanih letih. Statistično najvišji pridelek (11,92 t SS/ha) smo dosegli v letu 2014 (mokro leto), sledi leto 2020 (normalno leto; 8,71 t SS/ha), medtem ko je najmanjši pridelek (4,37 t SS/ha) zabeležen v suhem letu (2003).

Title:Grassland forage yields in climatically less favourable years
Abstract:In a permanent meadow experiment a study was conducted on the impact of the frequency of grassland use (twice, four times and four times a year - where every other year the grass is left in full bloom) and climatic factors in each year (2003, 2014 and 2020) that affect the amount of dry matter yield. The experiment was designed in 1995 on the property of the Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The experiment was designed in the form of a random block in four replicates. Based on the results, we found that the frequency of grass cutting has a statistically significant effect on the amount of dry matter yield of turfgrass. The highest yield (8,85 t SS/ha) was reached when the cutting frequency was four times a year, and the first cutting was done after full blooming every other year. The yields, where the cutting frequency was twice and four times a year (8,28 in 7,87 t SS/ha), were statistically comparable. There is also a statistically significant difference in the individual yields when compared through years. The statistically highest yield (11,92 t SS/ha) was achieved in 2014 (higher precipitation), followed by 2020 (normal precipitation; 8,71 t SS/ha), while the lowest yield (4,37 t SS/ha) was recorded in the year with a drought (2003).
