Abstract:Tema mojega diplomskega dela je digitalizacija bančnega poslovanja, njegove prednosti, slabosti in varnostni vidiki.

Title:Digitalisation of banking operations
Abstract:The topic of my dissertation is the digitalization of banking operations, its advantages, disadvantages and security aspects. With the help of digitalization, banks achieve better and more innovative products, higher profits, quality, progress and loyal customers. The problems we address are payment systems, open banking, artificial intelligence, robots and analysis of the business effects of digitalisation in the bank. We focused on newer financial concepts, which are modern banking trends, to teach readers about the financial literacy of our future. Everyone needs to know how to manage their finances and what is most beneficial to them. We have described concepts such as neobanks, fintech, bot, blockchain, cloud and digital euro. We focused on the future of banking and the business itself and found that a huge number of bank branches are closing, while at the same time there is less use of cash and more use of contactless payments. We analyzed Covid-19 and its impact on digitization. The pandemic turned out to have drastically changed only the business and habits of customers. With the analysis of Nova Kreditna banka Maribor, we realized that it is one of the best digitized banks in Slovenia.
