Abstract:Ko se otrok rodi prezgodaj, se njegov organizem ni sposoben takoj prilagoditi na nove razmere, posledično se pojavijo težave, ki lahko vodijo v bolezen. Med najpogostejše kronične pljučne bolezni otrok uvrščamo bronhopulmonalno displazijo. Njena pojavnost ostaja nespremenjena in zahteva dolgotrajno zdravljenje s kisikom, kljub napredku, nenehnemu razvijanju neonatologije in nasploh zdravljenja nedonošenčkov.

Title:Bronchopulmonary dysplasia in premature infant
Abstract:When a child is born prematurely, his body is not able to immediately adapt to new conditions, and as a result, problems arise, leading to a disease. One of the most common chronic lung diseases in children is bronchopulmonary dysplasia. It's incidence remains unchanged despite advances, the constant development of neonatology, and the treatment of preterm infants in genaral, and requires long-term oxygen therapy.
