Title:Artificial intelligence in courts
Abstract:We live in an era where technology is evolving rapidly day by day. As a result aritificial intelligence is one of the main tools of humanity that improves peoples's quality of life. The concept od artificial intelligence is most often thought of in the context of machine imitation of human behavior. Its introduction into the legal sector, more precisely into the judicial system is more complex than it looks like. Even though it brings many ethical issues and queastions about human rights, many countries still strive to incorporate it into their legal system. Among them are China and United States of America, which is strongly ahead of others in technological development. A total opposite are countries in Europe, Russia and Australia, which are about the use of artificial intelligence in courts, very critical. They are oriented in drafting legislation that will protect human fundumental rights. Using artificial intelligence is intended to develop a modern system and improve its efficiency. We have come to conclusion that use of artificial intelligence shortenes court proceedings and consequently reduces its costs. In our diploma thesis we have also defined the future of judicial profession. We are sure that there will be no use of robotic or e-judges in a frame time of ten years. Until today we have not been able to develop system that could take into account so many options and cisrcumstances as human being can. We believe that because of its strategy China is on a very good path to overtake the leading place. It could be the first country to use a system that will be assisted by robotic judges.
