Abstract:V diplomskem projektu najprej opredelimo, kaj sploh je UTD ter katere oblike poznamo: izvorna oziroma nepogojena oblika, selektivna, pogojna, kategorična, parcialna, neindividiualna, kontributivna, netrajna in segmentirana oblika. Prav tako so vse primerjalne države (Slovenija, Avstrija, Nemčija, Hrvaška) pomagale družinam, študentom, podjetjem in upokojencem, večinoma v obliki denarne pomoči.

Title:Universal basic income as a measure in the Covid-19 crisis
Abstract:In the bachelor’s thesis, we first define what UTD is and what forms we know: original or unconditioned form, particular, conditional, categorical, partial, non-individual, contributive, non-permanent, and segmented form. We then look for arguments against UTD. The most significant advantage of UBI is a certain amount of money every month. The main downside is that most individuals will no longer be employed, especially women. The world has come to a new test, namely the COVID-19 pandemic, which has severely affected the economy of every country in the world. Only now, there is more talk of UBI than a measure to stem the COVID-19 pandemic. In the form of monthly assistance, UTD helps textile shops, footwear, restaurants, and inns to survive from month to month. Various international and transnational institutions have also issued various measures in the form of financial assistance to help the European Union. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Slovenia helped its economy in the form of various financial aids, such as tourist vouchers in which each individual receives a certain amount of money that he can spend for tourist purposes. Croatia, Austria, and Germany also helped their economies a lot in the form of financial aid. All comparator countries (Slovenia, Austria, Germany, and Croatia) also helped families, students, companies, and pensioners, mostly in the form of financial assistance.
