Abstract:	Podjetništvo je proces, pri katerem ustvarjamo nekaj novega, inovativnega. Marsikdo se zaradi izgube službe odloči, da se poda na samostojno podjetniško pot z namenom zaslužka. Lahko pa se odloči za samostojno podjetniško pot, ker želi opravljati delo, ki ga veseli. Za pisanje diplomske naloge smo si za študijo primera izbrali samostojno podjetnico, ki je sama ustanovila svoje lastno podjetje. Najprej smo opredelili, kaj podjetništvo sploh je in kdo je podjetnik, kajti najprej moramo vedeti, kaj pomeni biti podjetnik, kdo lahko postane podjetnik, kakšne so njegove značilnosti ter katere dejavnosti lahko opravlja, da se odločimo za samostojno podjetniško pot. Naša diplomska naloga v empiričnem delu temelji na analizi ustanovitve samostojnega podjetja samostojne podjetnice. Za lažje razumevanje smo pripravili intervju s podjetnico, na podlagi katerega nam je podjetnica zaupala svoje začetke pri ustanovitvi podjetja. To temo smo si izbrali zato, da ugotovimo, kako se je podjetnica lotila ustanovitve lastnega podjetja, kar smo proučevali s pomočjo intervjuja. V celotnem diplomskem delu smo najprej predstavili splošno teorijo o podjetništvu in podjetniku, katere so podporne institucije za podjetništvo v Sloveniji ter na katere načine vse lahko financiramo ustanovitev lastnega podjetja. V zadnjem delu diplomskega dela pa smo se osredotočili na študijo primera, kjer teorijo prikažemo na praktičnem primeru. Na osnovi študije primera smo ugotovili, da je eden izmed ključnih dejavnikov pri ustanovitvi lastnega podjetja podpora družine, kajti njihova podpora pomeni največ in daje voljo in energijo, da se podamo v ustanovitev lastnega podjetja. Seveda pa mora biti tudi posameznik pripravljen na določena odrekanja, da lahko uspešno ustanovi in dolgoročno razvija lastno podjetje.

Title:	Entrepreneurial Beginnings Based on the Example of a Sole Proprietress
Abstract:	Entrepreneurship is a process during which we create something new and innovative. Due to the loss of a job, many people decide to embark on a sole proprietor path to make some profit. Another reason to take this path is desiring to do the work that one truly enjoys. In this thesis, we focused on a case of a sole proprietress, who established her sole trader enterprise. Initially, we defined what sole proprietorship is and who a sole proprietor is. It is essential to know what means to be a proprietor, who can become one, what are his or her characteristics, and what activities one can conduct to decide for an independent entrepreneurial path. Our thesis' empirical part is based on an analysis of the establishment of a sole trader enterprise. To better understand the case, we performed an interview with a sole proprietor who entrusted us with her beginnings in founding such an enterprise. A reason for choosing this topic was to find out how the entrepreneur approached starting her enterprise, which was studied with the help of an interview. The diploma thesis will be firstly focused on the general theory of entrepreneurship and the entrepreneur, the institutions responsible for entrepreneurship in Slovenia, and the different possible ways to finance and start your sole trader enterprise. The last part of the thesis will be focused on the case study, where theory is applied to a practical example. Based on the case study, we found out that one of the key factors in starting your enterprise is the support of your family. After all, their support means the most and gives us strength and energy to venture into starting our enterprise. Of course, the individual itself also has to be willing to make certain sacrifices, so he can establish his enterprise, which will be successful for many years.
