Uporabili smo deskriptivno in inferenčno statistiko.

Title:Nurse manager and managing a clinical institution
Abstract:Introduction: A good manager is conscious of the importance of managing and the meaning of constantly improving set of skills to meet the demands of quickly changing modern condition. It is generally accepted that the quality of a work environment and the contentment of employees depend on the manager. The goal of this work is to present management, manager's tasks, roles and characteristics and to discover what should be the attributes of a successful manager in a big organization. Methods: In the empirical part of the work we used the method of quantitive research. The instrument we used was the anonymous questionnaire: a validated questionnaire Multifactor leadership questionnaire – MLQ 5X. We analyzed the collected data with the programs Microsoft Excel and IBM SPSS Statistics 20. We used descriptive and inferential statistics. In the statistical conclusion we used the statistical tests χ2 test and t-test to verify the hypotheses. Results: The research includes 60 respondents, of which 20 are healthcare technicians, 20 are graduate nurses, 10 are assitants of professional managers of healtcare of department and 10 professional managers of healtcare of department. With the analysis we discovered that the organizational rank of the employees is not the source of any statistically relevant difference when it comes to assessing a leader, that with time those differences are decreasing and that employees detect increasingly more inspirational motivation and conditional rewards from their leaders. Discussion and concusions: Management and leadership are not equivalent terms. Leadership can be defined as the most important element of management, alongside planning, organization and supervision.
