Abstract:Povzetek Uvod: Preverjanje delovanja anestezijske delovne postaje je pomembno, saj s tem zagotovimo varnost bolnikom in zaposlenim. Metode: Izvedli smo sistematični pregled, analizo in sintezo znanstvene literature in strokovne literature s področja anestezijske delovne postaje. Upoštevali smo smernice PRISMA. Rezultati: Izmed 188 identificiranih zadetkov smo v raziskavi uporabili 7 virov in jih vključili v tematsko sintezo. Oblikovali smo eno glavno temo, in sicer preverjanje delovanja anestezijske delovne postaje in dve podtemi.

Title:Checking the anesthesia workstation before surgery
Abstract:Abstract Introduction: Checking and verifying the operation of the anesthesia workstation is crucial, as it ensures safety for patients and employees. Defects that occur during operation are greatly reduced by performing a pre-use checklist. It is about preventing side effects that would cause harm to patients. Methods: We performed a systematic approach, analysis and synthesis of scientific literature and professional literature in the field of anesthesia workstation. We followed the PRISMA guidelines. Results: Out of 188 identified results, 7 sources were used in the research and included in the thematic synthesis. We created one main topic, namely Checking the operation of the anesthesia workstation and two subtopics. These were the Components of the Anesthesia Workstation and the verification of the operation and possible malfunctions and consequences on the patients. Discussion and conclusion: We have found that checking the operation of the anesthesia workstation is important, as this can at least partially prevent errors and malfunctions that would occur during surgery and possibly harm patients. It has been found that a lot of work has been done recently on the awareness of nurses and anesthesiologists in connection with regular monitoring of the device.
