Abstract:Ena izmed vrst tržnih nepopolnosti so eksternalije. Izsledki empiričnih raziskav kažejo na skrb vzbujajoče posledice podnebnih sprememb. Segrevanje ozračja nastane zaradi izpustov toplogrednih plinov. Njegove posledice pa preko ekstremnih vremenskih dogodkov občutimo tako v realnem sektorju kot tudi v monetarnem segmentu gospodarstva. Čeprav imamo veliko dobrih praks blaženja posledic podnebnih sprememb, pa je učinkovita implementacija okoljskih politik prepočasna.

Title:The macroeconomic consequences of climate change
Abstract:Externalities are one type of market failures. The results of empirical research point to worrying consequences of climate change. Atmospheric warming is caused by greenhouse gas emissions. Its consequences are felt through extreme weather events both in the real sector and in the monetary segment of the economy. Although we have many good practices to mitigate the effects of climate change, an effective implementation of environmental policies is too slow.
