S tem neposredno udejanja koncept množičnega prilagajanja v proizvodnji industrije 4.0. Obravnavane so temeljne in aktualne raziskave s področja konstruiranja igel, mehanizmov vodenja, prilagojene konstrukcije orodja, določitve položaja igel, nadzora orodnega sistema in procesa preoblikovanja.

Title:Flexible forming tools for deep drawing of sheet metal
Abstract:This master thesis deals with flexible multi-point forming tool for deep drawing of sheet metal, in which the conventional rigid tools are replaced with a discretized surface of densely packed pins representing a die and a punch. With automated height adjustment of the elements, the tool can shape different surfaces and, with quick reconfiguration, meet the technological and economical aspects of the production of unique, small-batch, free-form 3D designed sheet metal products. In this way, it directly implements the concept of mass customisation in the production of Industry 4.0. Initial research and state of the art in the field of designing the pins, control mechanisms, flexible tool construction, pin positioning, tool system control and formability of the process are discussed. The construction of the active working surface was performed by determining the required pin cross-sectional size and matrix resolution on the basis of selected industrial applications and the analysis of the formability of the validation model in AutoForm program. A compromise is reached between the production of the desired geometry – required resolution, and the formability of sheet metal compared to the required strength of the elements.
Keywords:sheet metal forming, deep drawing, flexible-die forming, multi-point forming, reconfigurable tool, discrete die
